Drag and drop link into RouteConverter produces an error - Handler - 22.06.2014

Hi!

From what I've read and seen I should be able to drag the URL from the address bar in browser and drop it on the right size of RouteConverter.

When I do so it starts searching for formats. And it ends with this error in a popup dialog:

Quote:Could not open
'C:\Users\Dave\AppData\Local\Temp\GoogleMaps.url'
since its file format was not detected.

Now if I change the Type from Waypoint List to Route and then repeat the above the drop down reverts to Waypoint and I get the same error again.

I'm sure this work but obviously I'm doing something wrong!

Here's the URL I was practicing with

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Indianapolis+Zoo,+1200+S+Washington+St,+Indianapolis,+IN+46222/The+Children's+Museum+of+Indianapolis,+3000+N+Meridian+St,+Indianapolis,+IN+46208/@39.7905882,-86.1936475,6505m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x886b574c2abf5f2b:0x1c28cd32c964346b!2m2!1d-86.179782!2d39.766971!1m5!1m1!1s0x886b513e951d95f3:0xb9504ec89278716a!2m2!1d-86.157892!2d39.810613!5i2?hl=en

Hope you can help!

Regards!

Please try the latest prerelease - it detects the new Google Maps URLs.

Yes sir I did that and it brought the route over. It did not put it on the map though.

It's easier to show to tell in this case. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

This is a good as it gets: there is no more readable information in the URL. You can see that the longitude/latitude cells are empty.
Try Complete->Coordinates to do a geocoding of the description.

Ah! I see, very interesting!

This is pretty cool!
