Menu Items missing in macOS 10.13 High Sierra - josemaX - 14.10.2017 Hello I upgraded to High Sierra (10.13) and now the menu bar is empty for 2.21.2 Online (but keyboard shorcuts works), so then i downloaded 2.22-SNAPSHOT-881 and then, in Online version, the same problem, but the Offline shows them! I've tried this in 2 different Macs. 2.21.2 Online worked in Sierra (10.12) without problem java -version java version "1.8.0_25" Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_25-b17) Java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.25-b02, mixed mode) Any idea about something i can do or workaround? Attached an small capture of this. Thanks RE: Menu Items missing in macOS 10.13 High Sierra - routeconverter - 14.10.2017 (14.10.2017, 21:00)josemaX Wrote: Any idea about something i can do or workaround? First, you could upgrade your Java 8. Then you could use Help/Send Error Report... to send me the log. Going back to 10.12 is no option? Hello, this is the last version of java available in https://www.java.com/en/download/ (Version 8 Update 144) I can't use Help/Send.. because no menu... If you tell me other way i can do it. Filesystem has been converted to APFS, and upgraded days ago. Sorry go back is not an option now. Thanks RE: Menu Items missing in macOS 10.13 High Sierra - josemaX - 14.10.2017 I've ran it from shell with: java -jar /Applications/Path/To/RouteConverterMac.app/Contents/Java/RouteConverterMac.jar And the menu appeared! (In the window of the app, not in the macOS menu bar). I'm sending you the Report Error. RE: Menu Items missing in macOS 10.13 High Sierra - Artur Ruta - 15.10.2017 Same issue. When launching RouteConverterMac.app the window has no menu bars as expected. However the Mac manu bar (the one on the top of the sreen) only shows a single entry named RouteConverter and nothing happends when clicked (no dropdown menu list) If I launch RoteConverterPrePrerreleaseMacOffline.jar then - the application menus are shown whithin the window, not at the top of the screen - the only entry at the top of the screen is RouteConverterOffline but this time when clicked it shows a dropdown menu with options like preferencies, about, etc. Can reproduce at will and can run some diags or collect logs if necessary. Thanks for such useful application!! Please send me the RouteConverter.log with the 2.21 and the prerelease. Have a look at the FAQ where to find it on a Mac. To me it seems, High Sierra (10.13) shows this weird effect. Couldn't find such file in /tmp and my home directory Used (in /tmp and ~): find . -name 'RouteConverter.log' Even with sudo (because some directories had permissions that prevents find into them) RE: Menu Items missing in macOS 10.13 High Sierra - routeconverter - 19.10.2017 I've been using $ sudo find /var/folders/ -name RouteConverter.log /var/folders/tq/lvrc1zbj3hz7bfz98wft4bsr0000gp/T/RouteConverter.log and it worked. Thanks! I've searching for error messages, exceptions, stacktraces or other hints in the log that try to help me understand the problem (without having me to install High Sierra on my Mac ;-). Please send the log to the email given in the imprint. |
