#1
Hi!

At first I thank you for the awesome awesome app Christian! It is very useful for me!

I've got a small qestion. Is it possible to show more than one track at the same time in the map?

Best regards from Poland

It is not possible. And (as far as I know) there is no realistic chance to achieve such feature.

You may...

A) add a track behind an existing track. A straight line will connect both tracks.

B) use a file format that is capable to save several position lists in a single file. Look >>>here<<< for details.

What I would like to do...

I open first track (1), next I open second one (2). I compare both of them and correcting for example only track (2). Track (1) is used only like a layer to compare.

Hi Robert,

the "best" way to achieve this currently is to load track 1 and then import track 2 into the same position list. Then compare them, fix track 1 and remove the positions of track 2 afterwards again.

Thanks.

Your advice is some kind to achieve my purpose. A little disadvantage this technique is all the tracks have the same colour.

There are two main limitations currently in RouteConverter that get in the way of a simpler solution:
  • it's map implementation is designed for just one position list and extending this would be a big task
  • I haven't seen a simple user interface interaction yet how the user might decide on the color of parts of the track
Any help is appreciated.
