Hi Norm,
according to the official specification, the checksum is optional for most data sentences, but is compulsory for RMA, RMB, and RMC (among others). The most pragmatic approach is, when you send me your data and I'll check how it could be read.

Do you have just WPL sentences without a checksum? Or are other sentences affected, too?

Hi NormOnASUS,
I've uploaded a new prerelease of RouteConverter which should be able to read the WPL sentences without checksums. Please test and report if it's working.

I'm confused... Route Importer? Google Play Store?
$GPWPL,3018.000,S,15309.000,E,Coffs Harbor (Sidney) is accepted by the new RouteConverter prerelease.

You have to explore whether there are any log files giving more detailed information. Grüße, Ilmari
