Hi, new user here. Same problem with 2.18.5 on Mac OSX 11, starting only RouteConverter the application hangs. When I start chrome and open maps.google.com first, RouteConverter starts normally.

That sounds strange. Did you try the latest prerelease?

The latest pre release doesn't start.
Message in the tasks manager:
route converter doesn't answer
script-fu doesn't answer
