GPX from Btraced & RouteConverter
#1
Hello! I use the Btraced program (http://www.btraced.com/), but the files received from it do not open in the RouteConverter. But services (for example livegpstracks, wikiloc, gpsies, alltrails etc.) they recognize without problems.

That's because the file is not valid XML and GPX because it's missing the namespace declarations. If you replace

<gpx version="1.1" creator="Btraced for iPhone - http://www.btraced.com">

with

<gpx version="1.1" creator="Btraced for iPhone - http://www.btraced.com" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1 http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1/gpx.xsd http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensions/v3 http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensionsv3.xsd http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/TrackPointExtension/v1 http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/TrackPo...sionv1.xsd" xmlns="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1" xmlns:gpxtpx="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/TrackPointExtension/v1" xmlns:gpxx="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensions/v3" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

then you get a valid GPX which RouteConverter happily reads.

Then they accept broken GPX files.
