BUG insert intermediate positions???
#1
Hi,

I just started using route converter in order to create motorcycle routes. Somehow the latest version was not working for me so I am using the current PRERELEASE (offline version but using the online map). There seems to be an issue with insertion of intermediate points to make a proper GPX from the points created.

When I select all the points and ask the system to create intermediate points the route somehow gets crazy long and is not following the route anymore. See the screenshots before and after.

But when I do a "manual" insert intermediate points (first position 1-2 > insert then position 2-3 > insert, etc etc) then the route is completed with all the intermediate points in the right order.

FYI, using windows 10 java se 10

Hope you can help, thanks.

Dear Nick,

please send me the file you were using. It makes it a lot easier for me to reproduce the problem.

Hello Christian,

I attached the file to this reply.

I found out later that my "manual" solution doesn't seem to work either. At first that looks good but the system just doesn't seem to create any intermediate points after the second waypoint.

Thanks,
Nick

Dear Nick,

that helped to reproduce the problem. It was a threading issue when selecting more than 2 positions at a time.

Please try the latest prerelease which I've just uploaded: does it solve the problem for you?

Hello Christian,

Sorry for the late reply, I was on holiday for a while. This is now working perfectly thanks!
