The above is a cruise we will be taking. Except while on land the entire route will be captured by my various GPS units and kept in a file that covers all 29 days, including shore excursions, so that I can geocode any photographs we take precisely. However, generally GPS and GPX software seems to have difficulties when one is planning a trip from, for example, Boston Mass to Bar Harbor Maine as most software seems to assume one is going by land. Thus the trip from Boston to Samana cannot be mapped will in any existing products. A straight line does NOT work, since land must be avoided by the ship! Is there any way that RouteConverter can be used both before and after the cruise to keep the record straight as to sailing the ocean blue and taking shore and boat excursions while at ports?
