iGo track to kmz for Google Maps import
#1
Hi,
I have quite detailed iGo tracks which I would like to upload to my google maps.
First of all, I try to open all my 53 files (2'231 Kb total size, http://rapidshare.com/files/443118942/tracks.zip) in RouteConverter. While doing that I am getting several gpsbabel.exe errors.

I am running RouteConverter on Win Vista, java 1.6.0.23.
Tried both RouteConverter 2.1 and 2.2 (as of Jan 8th, 2011) - the same errors.

The most awful thing - as result of files opening, one point appears there far far away from my real tracks (and I can not find it in the list) - and the total length of my trip increases by ~20'000 kms! And, if I open each file separately - it is ok, there is no such point.
What should I do?

Then, with regards to the next step. I need to leave only 5000 positions in the kmz file - so it will be displayed properly. How should I do it? Tried to do it with 'Delete positions' tool, but program hangs.
Is the processing so long?

(PS. could you please add some status bar which will show which file is being opened currently and once processing is done - which files are opened?)

Unfortunately, the rapidshare zip archive is already gone. Could you provide me with the archive again and send me the log file?

Help me debug your problem.

Hi,

the file is still there - copy the link and remove trailing symbol ) - just tried, it can be downloaded.
I'll try to provide you with debug file later.

Thanks!
