Please try the latest prerelease 1.19.2. Does that work better for you?

Found the prerelease (the version number is displayed in the title bar when you run the JAR ...)
Same problem. Can move the points, but they are put back to their old position once you select another point. Can delete points though ...

If've found a serious bug and added a test for the communication between browser and RouteConverter: A window should come up stating the port number.

No window is popping up with a port number.

That means IeEmbed.exe cannot connect to the RouteConverter java process. You need to tweak your machine until this is possible (firewall?).

IeEmbed.exe is unblocked in the Vista firewall. So I guess it is the firewall in my Modem/Router. If you use a fixed port, then I could map it. Yet, you already explained you get random numbers. Are you using UPnP? Then it should (but it does not) work too, since I have enabled that.

kostermw Wrote:Yet, you already explained you get random numbers. It's the operating system that does it if you don't ask for a specific number. Simply reduces the risk of using a blocked port number. Could you open all ports to localhost for IeEmbed.exe? kostermw Wrote:Are you using UPnP? No. The IeEmbed.exe posts HTTP-requests to the RouteConverter process.

I am having the same problem. No editing possible in Vista / IE7. No personal (software) firewall, but h/w router.
Using latest pre-release

The h/w route should make no difference since the request originate at your machine and target a localhost port - the won't leave your machine.
Is there some kind of default blocking of the Vista firewall?
