Google Map .kml File Error
#1
Hello,

I'm having a problem on both Windows & Mac (latest version of each) platform where RouteConverter is no longer recognizing Google .kml files.

Anyone else having this problem, and if so, found a solution?

Hi,

which version number of RouteConverter do you use?

Did you test it with the >>>latest Prerelease<<< version that contains many fixes?

Thanks for the reply, Matthias. I've tried the prerelease and published 64 bit versions. All produce the same error when I add a .kml file. The application does not recognize a .kml file.

Error message reads: "Could not open (file name) since its file format was not detected. [/php]

Can you post a sample file for Christian here ? Maybe it must be zipped, so that the forum accepts it.

With the latest RouteConverter prerelease under Windows your file is opening perfectly. It contains a waypointlist and 6 tracks from western US. So the problem is very likely on your side: Please describe what versions you were using and what exactly you've been doing. Screenshots help as well.
