Mac Issues - Swithing between Convert and Browse to make it work
#1
Hi

I just downloaded the Mac version of RouteConverter and am experience problems when trying to delete points from a route.

I created a GPX file of the route from Garmin BaseCamp and opened it in RouteConverter. The points on the route and waypoint of the photo I had in the GPX file all appears in the RHS viewing pane. When I try to select a point, I am finding some of the functionality in selecting the points are disabled.  I have to do the following to delete a point or series of points (say point 51 to 59 as example):
1. Click on the point, say point 51 (at this stage it is not indicated as selected)
2. Click on Browse and click back on Convert
3. Now Position 51 is highlighted as being selected.
4. Select all entries from Position 51 to Position 59 (again the selection is not made)
5. Click on Browse and click back on Convert
6. Now Position 51 to Position 59 is highlighted as being selected.
7. Click on Delete and items are deleted.

I am using the following versions/configurations:
RouteConverter 2.18.1
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011)
OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.5
Java Version 8 Update 91

I'd be most grateful if you can advise on what I am doing wrong here.

Thanks

Dear Thom,

I'm pretty back in finding bugs in RouteConverter and thus could reproduce your detailed description here. Could you send me the GPX via EMail? (see FAQ for address)

I've tried this with a 2015 MacBook Pro, same RouteConverter, OS X and Java version. And the selection worked but when selecting on the map and in the position list. I'm wondering what's happening on your machine.

Please use Help/Send Error Report... which will send me the log from your machine.

Thanks Christian. I sent the log file as well as a screen recording to demonstrate the issue.

I'm sorry but I've neither received a screen recording nor a log file. Just double checked the spam filters: nothing.

Could you please send it again?
