Dear Jean-Claude,

I've installed Ubuntu 16.04 and I'm pretty sure that the problem is that you don't delete the file name file but append the file name to the "/" that is present when you save. Remove the "/" because otherwhise you are storing to "/test1.gpx" as the error message very clearly states.

Your application run perfectly. I am sorry  to have disturbed you with my stupid question . As you explained inside your previous message my "bug" was in relation with "/".
