Import kml file

I created a route in google maps then added &output=kml to the end and saved the kml file but in routeconverter it says it can't open the file what is the prosses for doing this. I have a navigon 7100

I know about problems with this procedure but couldn't replicate them. Please attach the file you've created as a ZIP to this forum or send it to my support email given in the FAQ.

Hi Joe,

that file is exactly 0 bytes long. I've seen this several times when I've added &output=kml to Google Maps URLs. But drag-and-dropping the URL into RouteConverter worked for me.

Ok i have Internet Explorer open with google maps on the screen and the map is the way i want it. I try to drag the url into routeconverter it says file format not detected? I assume i drop it in the big blank area?

That's exactly what I've done with the url you've sent to me. See that attached screenshots:

I have tried it through Firefox and internet Explorer i grab the url from firefox and drag it to routeconverter and it will not do it? What else can i try?

I am using version 1.24 routeconverter and the newest java version 6

If you're using the URL you've sent to me via Google Maps and email, I'm clueless. Does drag and drop of the email that Google Maps may send work?
